Louise Thornley can't help but research obsessively about health and social issues. She worked in community work then public health research for 25 years, most recently with the University of Otago. Now she's a contractor, wrangling book reviewers for Radio New Zealand and writing on health, social and outdoor topics. Louise has explored some of Aotearoa's best back country and lived on a remote Tokelau atoll. She resides with her partner Joe on the Kāpiti Coast.
