Peter Olds

Peter Olds is a living legend of New Zealand verse as the author of the revolutionary 1972 collection, V8 Poems, and later poems such as the classic 'Beethoven’s guitar', described by Peter Simpson as “an immensely vital poem about life in a psychiatric hospital”. His latest book is Taking My Jacket for a Walk (Cold Hub Press, 2017). Peter was born in Christchurch 1944.
