Philip Temple
Philip Temple is the author of 10 novels and about 30 non-fiction and children's books. He is co-editor, with Emma Neale, of Manifesto Aotearoa 101 Political Poems, published in May. He is currently working on a major biography of Maurice Shadbolt. He has won a number of prizes as well as the Prime Minister’s Award for Literary Achievement and was appointed ONZM for his serves to literature. Philip was born in Pudsey, Yorkshire, in 1939..
