Thelma Karaitiana is a Pou Tikanga in Residence at Te Papa Tongarewa, for the iwi of Rongowhakaata. Her role is to voice, to narrate and to feel and share the mauri and mana of tipuna in taonga, who are the Ko Rongowhakaata Exhibition.
