Wahida Zahedi is a former refugee from Afghanistan, now working as a case worker with New Zealand Red Cross helping new arrivals get set up in Christchurch. In her piece, she talks about her journey from her village to Christchurch, the overwhelming response from Kiwis to support our Muslim communities and her love for Christchurch as her home.
