Rob Me Blind: Police Ten 7 Has a New Host

Call the police, there’s a new host in town. It was announced yesterday that Detective Sergeant Rob Lemoto has been assigned the biggest case of his life: being on the telly. Beating over 50 applicants for the job, Lemoto will replace Ten 7 stalwart Graham Bell.

This isn’t his first television rodeo. Lemoto first appeared on Police Ten 7 in 2004 whilst investigating a burglary at McDonald’s. Here’s hoping this high profile Hamburglar case has prepared him enough for the diverse range of challenges that Police Ten 7 brings:

It’s not all about spewing zombies and flirty toe-kissers, there will always be those stellar moments to keep Rob sane. There will be highs:

There will be motivational stories:

And, as ever, there will be good advice:

Best of luck to Rob Lemoto and fare thee well Graham Bell. May you retire your cuffs and enjoy a lovely glass of wine in France whilst wearing a promotional Police Ten 7 t-shirt.

The new season of Police Ten 7 screens on TV2 at 7.30 on Thursday.
