Sick Homes: a documentary about New Zealand's damp and mouldy houses | Frame

New Zealand homes are damp, mouldy and cold – and there is mounting evidence that they may be killing us. About 1,600 New Zealanders die prematurely every winter because of poor quality housing. More than 40,000 children are hospitalised for housing-related conditions; around 15 die. And those who survive are 10 times more likely to die before they reach their 20th birthday.

How did things get this bad?
