Alex Beattie is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Science in Society, Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington. He researches science communication, digital wellbeing and disconnecting from the internet. Rebecca Priestley lives in Wellington where she is associate professor at the Centre for Science in Society at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington. She was science column for the Listener for six years and her most recent book is Fifteen Million Years in Antarctica (VUP, 2019). She won the Prime Minister’s Science Communication Prize in 2016 and was born in Wellington in 1967.
