The Spinoff Privacy Policy
The Spinoff values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information Hex Work Limited, our related entities and any assignees (collectively “The Spinoff”, “we” “us” or “our”) collect from you and how we use, disclose and protect that information. It also explains your options around our use of your personal information and how you can access and update it.

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of The Spinoff website and any podcasts, tickets or merchandise that you download or purchase from us (collectively, “Services”).

What Information do we collect?
The Spinoff collects information to make our website operate more effectively. Personal information (being information that is capable of identifying you) is collected directly from you and other information is collected when you interact with our Services.

Personal information about you is collected by The Spinoff and may be used to identify or contact you. This information may be collected when you sign up to become a Spinoff Member or when you contact us or interact with our Services. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, other means of contacting you, and mailing/delivery addresses (if you want to receive our merchandise). If you do not supply us with that personal information, then we may be unable to contact you or provide you with our Services effectively.

We use cookies to store non-personally identifiable information about use of The Spinoff website, to promote our Spinoff Membership program and to give you the best possible experience. The information collected is anonymous and linked to a unique identifier assigned to your device.
Specifically, we use:

- Functionality Cookies (used by our functionality partners such as OptinMonster, Facebook Social Plugins, and Doubleclick) for key functions on our site.

The Spinoff does not store your payment card details
We do not collect or store payment information you provide (except for your name and contact details). If you purchase tickets or merchandise from us or make donations using your payment card information, payments will be processed by the specialised payment card payment service Stripe Inc. How we use your personal information
We may contact you using your address, email, telephone number and any other means of contact you have provided.
Your information will be used to deliver Services you have requested, including contacting you and sending you merchandise or tickets.
Your information may be used to contact you about your use of our Services and new Services and content that may be of interest to you. You will be able to opt-out of receiving messages which are not necessary to deliver Services you have requested.
Your information may be used to, promote our Spinoff Membership program, sell merchandise, and tickets to events, monetise podcasts and sell paid newsletter subscriptions.
We may be required by law to disclose your personal information. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to exercise our legal rights or defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations. In the event of a reorganisation, merger, acquisition or sale of The Spinoff (or its business), we may also transfer or share any and all personal information collected to the relevant third party.
Sharing personal information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party. However, we do share your personal information with trusted third parties that work on our behalf to deliver our services (for example our payment processor Stripe).

Accessing and correcting your personal information
It is your responsibility to ensure that the personal information you provide to us is accurate, complete and up-to-date. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, or request that we update or correct any personal information we hold about you, by sending us your request in writing. If for some reason we cannot, or do not, action your request, you have the right to ask us to record, alongside your personal information, the fact that your request for correction has been made. Spinoff Members can suspend or delete their accounts (including any personal information contained in their accounts) at any time by emailing us.
