Bailey Te Maipi (Tuhoe, Te Aitanga ā Mahaki, Rongowhakaata) was born and raised in the skateparks of the Kāpiti Coast. She is the founder and lead instructor for Waa Hine Skate, empowering wāhine and takatāpui to give skating a go.
