Jessie Fenton

Jessie Fenton is a poet, criminal lawyer, and amateur crochet enthusiast. She’s a two-time New Zealand national slam finalist, an organiser and MC for the JAFA poetry slam, Tāmaki Makaurau’s regional slam competition, and a coach for high school poets through Word: The Front Line. Her poetry has been published in Starling, Stasis, Wild Honey, Sweet Mammalian, Landing Press’ More Than A Roof, and the recent Auckland University Press collection No Other Place to Stand.
