Margo Montes de Oca

Margo Montes de Oca is a writer of Mexican and Pākehā descent from Te Whanganui-a-Tara, currently studying in the U.K. She holds degrees in English Literature and Ecology, so her writing is usually about other writers, creaturely landscapes, and the dream-ocean in between. Her poetry has been published in issues of Starling, Sweet Mammalian, Min-a-rets, Turbine | Kapohau and Mayhem Journal, and her debut chapbook 'intertidal' is part of AUP New Poets 11 (AUP 2025).
