Nick Tipa

Nick Tipa (Kāi Tahu) grew up in Ōtepoti, Dunedin. At the moment, Nick mainly writes for the stage, however he is also a songwriter. His first solo play, Babyface, received three awards at the 2025 Dunedin Fringe Festival. Nick is also the writer in residence at the 2025 New Zealand Young Writers’ Festival.
