Phil Vine has been a journo for more years than he cares to say. His top drawer is littered with used business cards from most of the current affairs shows in New Zealand, Sunday, Sixty Minutes, Fair Go and 3D investigates, among a bunch of awards certificates. He’s scribbled for the Guardian, NZ Herald and Listener. Held a microphone for ITV, BBC and CBC, reporting out of Pakistan, Iraq and Nicaragua, El Salvador to East Timor and the Solomons. He’s done time with the Red Cross in Indonesia and Geneva. Phil reviews books for Radio New Zealand. He’s presently working for Greenpeace. He is married to Sonja deFriez. Phil has three children Tash, Ruben and Sebastien.
