Dr Stephen Child, Chair of the New Zealand Medical Association, is a Canadian-trained general physician with an interest in asthma and general internal medicine. He immigrated to New Zealand in late 1991 and has been the Director of Clinical Training at the Auckland District Health Board since 1994.
