Dr Tom Logan studies the risk and resilience of urban systems. He has a PhD from the University of Michigan in Industrial and Operations Engineering, and a Masters of Geography and Environmental Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University. He is currently a Pūkenga/Lecturer/Assistant Professor at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, in Civil Systems Engineering. His research is focused on exploring how to design our communities in the face of climate change and how to leverage data and modelling to achieve that.
