Dr Kyro Selket is a social scientist with the Centre of Research Excellence: Indigenous Sovereignty and Smoking in Auckland. Kyro has spent many years working alongside individuals and community groups as a beneficiary advocate, educator and support worker. Once a smoker, Kyro appreciates the personal struggles that compete with a desire to quit smoking.
