The Te Ohu Mō Papatūānuku (TOMP) Trials Project was a landmark case for healing the land and people with the guidance of Māori science and leadership.

This is what happened when Papatūānuku (Earth) was contaminated by toxic discharge, and mana whenua led a meaningful solution.

Me Tū ā-Uru is an Action Plan that was written by a working group of Māori researchers and practitioners co-lead by Maria Bargh and Carwyn Jones, as part of New Zealand’s Biological Heritage National Science Challenge.
