The Real Pod assembles to dissect the week in reality television and real life, with special thanks to Nando’s.
A storm is a’brewing on The Real Pod this week… or is it? With Duncan periodically yelping his way through a bad back, Jane showing off a Doritos packet the size of a backpack and Alex silent for hours after regrettably eating a Mintie on mic, this is one turbulent episode for sure. Weather folk are fighting, Helen Clark has gone viral again and a truly enormous parrot has been discovered in New Zealand.
There’s also moss piglets, millennials getting in trouble with Mum and, of course, The Block NZ. It’s hallway, laundry, stairway, landing, lock box, cupboard, and panic room week this week, and it would be a total washout was it not for Block Stars. Lisa and Ribz step into the circus ring, Sam (and to a lesser extent, Ethan) wow us with a rap, Stacey and Adam do a safety video that Air NZ wouldn’t touch with a barge-pole and Sophia and Mikaere do a sexy dance. It’s the Real Pod, for real.
