Adi Leason is married to Shelley, whom he met at Wellington Teacher’s College in 1984. They have seven children and live on a small organic Catholic Worker farm outside of Ötaki. Adi’s political education was served by living in a Wellington City Council public housing complex for seven years and then in an urban slum in Southeast Asia. He and his family remain intrigued by the possibilities of manual labour, voluntary poverty, an open home and non-violent direct action. Adi was born in 1966.
