Dominic Hoey and Samuel Walsh

Dominic is an author and poet. Samuel is an arts facilitator and producer. They founded boutique publishing house Dead Bird Books in 2019. Manifesto: "We want to offer a voice to local writers working in the margins, who for a myriad of reasons don’t often fit the common mould of the publishing world. This includes writers without a higher education, people with learning disabilities and mental illness, people from working class communities and those whose subject matter doesn’t fit into the current paradigm."
