Johanna Aitchison has a PhD in Creative Writing from Massey University (2021) and lives in the Manawatū. She was awarded a Mark Strand Scholarship in 2019 and is an honorary Fellow of the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa.Her poetry has appeared in The Hopkins Review, Best Small Fictions, Turbine, Landfall, and New Zealand Poetry Shelf. Her fourth volume of poetry, Miss, will be published in 2024.
