Karyn Hay is an author and broadcaster. Her first novel Emerald Budgies won best first book in the NZ Book Awards, and she is also a Frank Sargeson fellow. The March Of The Foxgloves (book one in a trilogy) has just been published. Karyn grew up in Waitoa, and was born in Auckland in 1959
