Mikaela Nyman

Mikaela Nyman writes poetry, fiction and non-fiction in English and Swedish. She is from the autonomous, demilitarised Åland Islands and lives in Taranaki. In 2024 she was the Burns Fellow. Her two poetry collections in Swedish were nominated for the Nordic Council Literature Prize in 2020 and 2024. Her first full collection in English is forthcoming with THWUP in 2025.
