Salene Schloffel-Armstrong is an urban geographer based at the University of Auckland. She is currently writing a doctorate on the changing place of public libraries in the contemporary city, but her wider theoretical interests include public space / institutions more generally, infrastructures of care, and housing reform. She is also a co-proprietor of Long Distance Books, and a member of Renters United.
