Put on your VR goggles, Robbie Nicol is here to give you a guided video tour of voting in Aotearoa.

If you’re enrolled by October 25, you can vote in New Zealand from October 26 to November 7. You must be enrolled by this Sunday, October 25, or your vote will not count. You can enrol, or check if you're enrolled, right now at vote.nz.

If you turn up to vote and you're not enrolled - you might be given a "special vote" paper and get to go through the motions of voting. However, if the Electoral Commission finds out you were not on the electoral roll at time of voting, your vote will be discarded.

Directed, filmed and edited by Isaiah Tour.
Written and presented by Robbie Nicol.
Made with the support of NZ On Air.

Special thanks to the Electoral Commission, Zoe Madden-Smith, Emma Gleason, Tina Tiller, Ben Fagan and Elisa Rivera.
