Mike Bedford

Dr Mike Bedford is New Zealand’s most experienced Public Health qualified specialist for health and wellbeing in early childhood education settings. He has a Master of Public Health, and a PhD, both focused on health in early care and education. He established the Wellington regional ECE Public Health programme in the 90s, and has investigated about 50 ECE related outbreaks. He has also made about 1500 centre visits and run about 200 lectures and workshops for ECE teachers on wellbeing and centre design. You can contact Mike at mike.bedford@rockpool.nz.
