Tobias Buck lives in Hawke's Bay and each harvest shares his home with international vintage workers. He's worked in the wine industry in New Zealand, Europe and South America and is the joint winner of the 2019 Landfall Essay Prize. He remains a fan of a good book and good wine.
Richard Brimer's photography exhibition Harvest is a little bit Humans of New York. Except it's in Hastings, has zero pretension, and captures the diverse population of seasonal labourers who work the local vineyards and farms.
