Where to learn te reo Māori anywhere in Aotearoa, for free or next to nothing

KIA-ORA-Pronunciation

Start learning te reo Māori anywhere in Aotearoa with this list of introductory, part-time classes.

‘Learn te reo Māori’ is at the top of a lot of people’s New Year’s resolutions. The problem is, it can be hard to enrol after the new year, which is typically when resolutions are meant to be resolved. Many of the beginner courses are a year long and the classes fill up fast. Before you know it, another year has sped by te reo-free.

We’re here to help you plan now so you can wake up on January 1st regretting everything but that. Even if a class is full, pop yourself on the waiting list just in case.

The below courses are free* or low-cost. There are no prerequisites or prior qualifications required for enrolment.
