Michelle Rahurahu (Ngaati Tahu-Ngaati Whaoa) is a writer living on Ngaai Tuuaahuriri whenua. She has a Masters in Creative Writing from the International Institute of Modern Letters, where she won the Modern Letters Fiction Prize and was shortlisted for the Michael Gifkins Prize for an Unpublished Novel for her manuscript Pōhara.
