Mozart in the Jungle (Season 2)

Coming away with two Golden Globe wins for best comedy series and best performance for lead actor Gael García Bernal, the second season of Mozart in the Jungle is available exclusively on Lightbox now. A body is found under a bridge connecting Sweden and Denmark, launching an investigation which both countries play a part. One of the finest examples of Scandi-noir, crime thriller The Bridge has been called “spectacular…an astonishing feat of writing and acting” (The Guardian).

The Killing (Season 2)

The second season in the award-winning crime drama begins with a whole new case: a military legal advisor is found murdered in a memorial park. Sofie Gråbøl returns as the steely Sarah Lund, with each 50 minute episode following 24 hours of the case.

The Returned (Season 1)

The French thriller series is set in a small town, where people who have been long dead begin to return to their friends and relatives. Chilling and mysterious, The Returned won an International Emmy for best drama in 2013.

Luke Nguyen’s Greater Mekong (Seasons 1 & 2)


Chef Luke Nguyen travels to Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Burma and China sampling the finest cuisine on offer. Stay tuned for sticky sesame dumplings, chickpea tofu soup and Chiang Mai chargrilled pork belly, to name a few.

The Long March to Freedom (Season 1)

This three-part documentary series explores events that occurred during the final brutal winter of WWII, when 100,000 Allied prisoners of war in Poland were forced to march to Germany. The survivors retell the astounding, harrowing journey with dramatic re-enactments.


Suits (Season 5, part 2 arrives TBC)


Returning from last year’s hiatus, season five of legal drama Suits returns express from the US later this month. Set in the heights of Manhattan corporate law, big dog Harvey Specter takes a huge risk in hiring college dropout Mike Ross to be his associate. Black Sails (Season 3 arrives TBC)

From producer Michael Bay (Transformers, Armageddon), this rowdy action-adventure series draws inspiration from real-life pirates of the 18th century. As we pop open a bottle of rum and jump on deck for season three, Captain Flint has the world fearing for their lives.

X Company (Season 2 arrives TBC)

Based on real events that took place during WWII, X Company is a thriller that follows five young people recruited to become spies for the allied forces. Go with them as they are deployed behind enemy lines.
