Roughly 120,000 New Zealanders have had their private health records stolen by a hacker called Kazu, who is threatening to leak them unless they receive $60,000 USD. Six months ago Manage My Health were warned their security wasn’t up to scratch. Now it seems that might have been true, as hackers have managed to download more than 430,000 confidential health documents with a valid user password.
