The agenda
- With Chris Hipkins out with Covid until Friday, a range of Labour MPs have picked up his planned pre-election itinerary. But Hipkins will be hosting an online Zoom town hall and attempting to speak to media this way as well in the days ahead.
- Labour’s accused Christopher Luxon of running scared from this week’s Press leaders’ debate which has to be rescheduled due to Hipkins’ Covid diagnosis.
- On The Spinoff: I talked with Kieran McAnulty about his battle to retain Wairarapa and why he doesn’t want to be prime minister. Plus: Toby Manhire on whether a low-energy, small-vision campaign could spell a slump in voter turnout. And with advance voting open now (yes, really), Shanti Mathias explains everything you need to know (or have forgotten) about how to vote.
