Commentary

It is hard to talk about this,
my love, and so I talk about
cricket. What I like is the
fourth day of a test match,

when everyone is playing
for a draw. I like the draw.
I like to see defensive play
extend the innings. I like

a partnership whose aim is
not to get out. See the night
watchman scoring singles to
avoid the facing bowlers! Why,

the jeering of the crowd is
barely audible! A good way
to spend a morning. A good
partnership, I say.
