We’ve been big fans of James Mustapic’s hilarious recap channel Shorty Street Scandal since The Spinoff began. This week, we are stoked to preview his debut Harry Warner-themed single and announce his first ever LIVE SHOW in Auckland, proudly brought to you by The Spinoff!

Nearly one year ago I started working on a full song called ‘Hold Your Hand In Mine Harry Warner’. I have very little musical talent but I was super excited to take my love of Shortland Street and one of the most hated characters on the show (Harry Warner) to the next level, by making this song and music video about him.

The project was meant to only take a couple months at most, but obstacle after obstacle kept coming up (including the song being taken from me by the guy who recorded it!)

It’s ended up taking a year to complete it, and it’s the hardest I’ve ever worked on a project. I ended up deciding to enlist the help of my lovely friends to make the song and music video with me, so it has a somewhat home-made style feel to it like most of my videos. I am super proud of the work that has gone into it!

EXTRA ANNOUNCEMENT: The Spinoff is also bloody overjoyed to announce that we will be presenting the first ever Shorty Street Scandal Live at the Basement Theatre on December 12 at 10pm!!!!!!!!! Put it in your diaries!!!!!!!!!! Gaze in wonder at this great poster designed by the Great Paul Williams!!!!!!
